Hell No Kitty

Friday, 29 August 2014

You must have heard the news? This groundbreaking news!
So, apparently Hello Kitty is not a cat.
There's definitely been something lost in translation here.
Cos yeah, she's totally a cat. Like Mickey Mouse is a mouse and so on.

Pre-hardball

Friday, 15 August 2014

This is probably what happened before that first one.
Also, there's actually a ball in this hardball post this time.

Hardball II

Another render test from two doodles turned digital, dudes.
I suddenly wish there was a bigger story behind this.

Gorillaz Zine Ghost

Friday, 18 July 2014

It's Gorillaz' Del tha Ghost Rapper in some Rock the House gear!
This was my piece for the recent Gorillaz Fanzine put together by the wonderful comic illustrator Sammy Borras.

It's filled with illustrations, comics, articles, cosplay & more from various talented fans!
Sammy's currently selling the last of a limited run of them on Etsy, so snap one up before they're all gone. They're lovingly crafted and certainly worth a look, even unbiased me would agree.
You can get hold of a copy here.

This is a render test which has evolved into a little something else.
Her name is currently Dahlia Waleed, and that's all for now.

Douga: The Silent Well

Tuesday, 1 July 2014

A recent illustration of the band Douga for Amelia's Magazine.

You can listen to their new album The Silent Well in its entirety here.
It's pretty neat.

Spot the Dog

Thursday, 26 June 2014

A little tribute to Eric Hill who passed away recently.
For those who didn't know, he created this guy, Spot the Dog.
As a child I spent a lot of time reading and watching shows about this puppy.

Frank: I Love You All

Friday, 6 June 2014

That would probably be his response if he knew my thoughts on the film.

If you don't know about Frank, learn about Frank.
The music that the technically fictional band 'Soronprfbs' (that's right)
creates throughout the film is quite great. Here's hoping the film's soundtrack is released as the Soronprfbs album.

If you saw the film, you may have struggled to get this song out of your head afterwards.
I certainly did, for a good reason.

What he said.
